What you need

  • A current Texas peace officer license in good standing.
  • Current employment with a Texas law enforcement agency.
  • Extra-employment approval from your agency, where your agency requires it. If you are not sure whether yours does, apply anyway and say so — we will check.
  • A phone number and email address we can reach you on.

Verification takes about one business day once we have your details.

How you are paid

The client pays you directly, at the rate stated on the assignment, and sets you up as their vendor. Sworn Coordination Services is not your employer and does not pay you — we bill the client a separate coordination fee for arranging the assignment. Nothing is deducted from your rate.

Every scheduled officer bills a minimum of 4 hours.

What we do not ask for

No Social Security number, no W-9, no bank details, no criminal history records, and not your home address. Under direct pay that paperwork is between you and the client who pays you, so there is no reason for us to hold it.
